Lincolnshire Parent Portal 

Access 

Before applying for any services, you will need to add your child’s details first.  

Ensure the correct date of birth is given, as this will affect the services you can apply for. 

Note:  

  • Your username will be the email address you signed up with 
  • Do not use your browser’s back button to navigate, as information will not be saved 

Applications 

The Parent Portal allows parents or carers to apply for: 

School places 

  • Primary intake applications    
    • to start primary/infant school in Reception year (children aged 4) 
    • to start junior school in Year 3 (children aged 7) 

               Offer letters will be e-mailed out on 16th April. The Portal re-opens on 16th April for late applications and closes on 19th May. If you have already applied but want to change your school preferences, please follow the instructions in your offer letter about making a revised application.

    • Secondary intake applications 
      • to start secondary school in Year 7 (for children aged 11) 

                 The Portal is now closed for Sept 2025 Year 7 applications. The next round of offer results will be e-mailed out around 3rd April. If you still haven't applied for a Year 7 place for Sept 2025 please phone 01522 783030. 

      • Applications for an in-year school place (open all year round): 
        • moving schools due to change of address, change of circumstances or having issues with current school. For 'in year' applications you can only apply through us for Lincolnshire schools. We cannot accept In-Year applications for schools outside of Lincolnshire. Please visit the school’s website for information on how to make your application. 

      Details that have been changed in your Parent Portal account will not automatically go through to school admissions after submitting an application. 

      If your home address or any other details have changed since submitting your school application, please email schooladmissions@lincolnshire.gov.uk to confirm this.

      Free school meals 

      Applications are open all year round. If you have a query, please email Free_school_meals@lincolnshire.gov.uk. 

      2-year-old childcare funding 

      You can apply on this Parent Portal for funded childcare for your two-year-old.

      Eligibility is based on those families in receipt of income-related benefits.

      Applications are open once your child turns 2.
